RECEPTIONIST / CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance. 

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, and assisting in the operating room.

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Ward personnel are responsible for animal handling, bathing and grooming, cleaning, feeding, laundry, waste disposal, and running lab work. Veterinary Assistants divide their time between patient care, restraining animals in a calm, caring, and safe manner, dispensing medications, assisting veterinary technicians with basic treatments, assisting clients at the front desk, answering phones, following up on appointments, and entering data into computerized medical records. Veterinary assistants are also responsible for bathing animals as needed and keeping medical equipment, exam rooms, kennels and runs clean and ready for use. Applicants should have excellent customer service skills, the ability to multi-task efficiently, strong typing skills, a friendly and upbeat attitude, and be extremely detail-oriented. Veterinary hospital or animal care experience is a plus! This position has 4 shifts during the week and every other Saturday from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm, with weekend animal care duties every 6 weeks, and regularly scheduled shifts around holidays.
